Day 1 –Arrival in Istanbul and meeting at the airport, transfer to the hotel, check- in. Leisure afternoon.
Overnight Istanbul.
Day 2 – SULTANAHMET -OLD CITY
Meeting at the hotel reception at 09:00am
Visit to Topkapi Palace, which was used by the Ottoman Sultans from the 15th to 19th centuries. We will also see the impressive collection of priceless jewels, crystal, silver and porcelain, robes worn by the sultans and relics of the prophet Mohammed.(Entrance to the Harem is extra). After lunch break we will see the Blue Mosque, built for Sultan Ahmet I, which is a unique piece of architecture with its six minarets and features 20,000 beautiful Iznik tiles. Visit the ancient Hippodrome with Obelisk of Theodosius, Snake Pillar and German Fountain of Wilhelm II. Walk through the back streets of Old Istanbul and visit the Yerebatan underground Cistern. At the end of the tour, at request, free time to see the Grand Covered Bazaar (except Sundays). *May be done as a walking tour if your hotel is centrally located. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 3- ISTANBUL- CAPPADOCIA
Pick-up from hotel 2 hours before flight departure.
Take the early morning flight from Airport in Istanbul to Cappadocia. Arrival at the airport and meeting just outside the arrival’s gate with a sign bearing your name with your driver. Transfer to Cappadocia. Our first stop will be the fairy of Cappadocia where we will learn about how nature has created Cappadocia. Then we will drive to the oldest and most well preserved underground city of Cappadocia Mazi(Mazeus- City of Zeus). This is the only underground city from the Neolithic Age ruins (6000 BC) inside. You will see Hittite designs on the walls of this underground city, which has 7 levels. After the visit to the underground city we will have a chance to see local Cappadocians living inside caves and farming in the heart of Anatolia, Then we will drive to Soganli Valley (old name sogandos) where we will drive on the Silk Road. Then we will visit Tokalı Church, which has well-preserved wall fresco's from the 5th century. We will have lunch in the village. Afterwards, we will drive to the Sebasos Roman settlements. Sebasos has one of the most well-preserved mosaic floors of Turkey. Then we will drive to Cemil, which is a Greek village. We will have a brief stop at Ortahisar castle for the most spectacular views of the Cappadocia region.
Day 4 - CAPPADOCIA
Meeting at the hotel reception at 09:30
will be to see the first Church of Göreme where they use to select the Saints of Cappadocia, after getting information about Cappadocia and the first Christians we will see the old first Roman apartments that are carved in rock caves which are 2300 Years old. Later we will discover the pigeon houses and your guide will explain why the pigeons play an excellent role for in habitants of Cappadocia. Our Next stop is Love Valley: We will see the most massive Fairy Chimneys of Cappadocia and hike for a while inside, then we will Drive to St Jean Church Here you go, one of the most significant legs of our trip. We will see the best-painted church with beautiful fresco and learn how the saints, monks, and nuns made their lifestyle in such as magical & labyrinth passageways we will study the Bible from the 1000 years old paintings. we will have Lunch at Goreme a old Roman village that is 2000 years old here Local woman will prepare our Lunch. After lunch we will visit Avanos 2000 bc 4000 Years old Ceramic center of Cappadocia after a pottery demonstration: Our Next stop will be The Biggest palace of Cappadocia Acık saray the only palace of the Cappadocian Kingdom in Anatolia.
Day 5 - CAPPADOCIA-KONYA -ANTALYA
We will Drive to konya on the way we will visit keravan palace on the silk road and visit Konya mevlana Museum konya is the first capital city of the selcuk Turkish Empire we will visit the mevlana museum and have lunch after Lunch we will Drive true Tauros mountions and arrive to Antalya overnight at Antalya,
Day 6 - ANTALYA
We will Drive to Perge The ancient city of Perge was the capital city of the Pamphylia region. Today it is a large site of ancient ruins where we can see an acropolis dating back to the Bronze Age, City gate, Roman Bath, Column Street, Agora, and Stadium.
Aspendos was an ancient city in Pamphylia. The theatre of Aspendos is one of the best-preserved theatres of the Roman world. overnight at Antalya.
Day 7 - MYRA KEKOVA PAMUKKALE
Kekova-Demre-Myra tour will open to you the pages of Turkish history while visiting an ancient city in Myra, the church of St. Nicholas in Demre, and the sunken city in Kekova! Starting with the fascinating boat trip to Kekova sunken city, destroyed by an earthquake during the 2d century, You’ll visit an ancient Greek amphitheater and the rock-cut tombs of the Lycian necropolis in Myra!
Antique Theatre and the Church of St. Nicholas the saint who is referred to as Santa Claus. Santa Claus was the bishop of Myra. Today he is the patron saint of Russia, Beit Jala in Palestine, and New York City. (His church in New York was 170 years old when the falling World Trade Center towers destroyed it.) The defender of children, guardian of sailors, and protector of travelers, he was said to have lived here. Sleeping with lemon and orange aromas, Demre was chosen by St. Nicholas as his home and his final resting place.
After lunch, we sail over turquoise waters to the picturesque Kekova Island from Ucagiz Village. Discover the extraordinary underwater ruins of the sunken city belonging to Kekova Island and visit the noteworthy Lycian necropolis at Teimiussa. There are opportunities to swim and snorkel if desired, so do not forget your bathing suit and towel.after the tour we will Drive to Pamukkale overnight at Pamukkale.
Day 8 - PAMUKKALE
We will Drive to Drive to Pamukkale, on the way, we will visit The Kaklik Cave the underground cave that has been Created in 700.000 years, After we will do Discovery of Travertine terraces and Hierapolis. The travertine terraces at Pamukkale are one of the most spectacular natural wonders that you can see from various mineral springs in a vast white cliff side. About 200 m overlooking the plain, calcite-laden waters have dripped down over a series of terraced levels and created a fairyland of bizarre solidified cascades and shell-shaped basins. It looks like creations from snow or like balls from cotton, which gave the scenery the Turkish name Pamukkale (cotton castle): “pamuk” for cotton and “kale” for castle. Day 9 - IZMIR
Meet et the reception and We will Drive to Efesus
Visit to the ancient city of Ephesus. We will spend several hours walking in the footsteps of Alexander the Great, Caesar, Cicero, Apostles Paul and John and many other familiar historical names. The recently opened Terrace Houses (entry included) where the wealthiest Romans lived are an excellent example of sensitive excavation and presentation. The mosaics and frescos are spectacular. Tradition has it that Virgin Mary was brought here by St John after the Crucifixion and lived her final years near the city of Ephesus on an isolated mountaintop. A lovely chapel is constructed on the site tended by Franciscans and open to visitors. It has been designated a pilgrimage site by the Pope. We will continue with Saint John Church where Apostle John spent his final years and he was buried. Visit to temple of Artemis to see the remains of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Overnight Kusadasi near Ephesus.
